Residents in Louisiana enjoy the ability to ride their motorcycles year-round. Because the weather is often nice, traveling by motorcycle can be an enjoyable and efficient way to get around. While there are many benefits for riding a motorcycle, there are some downsides. No matter the reason for coming to a halt, a stop sign, traffic signal, a cross walk or debris in the road, if a driver behind a motorcycle fails to come to a stop, this could result in a fender-bender. A rear-end collision involving a motorcyclist frequently result in fatalities or severe injuries.

Finally, a motorist opening their door could cause a motorcycle crash. Whether a biker is passing by a parked car in a parking lot or in a residential area. If a motorist fails to ensure it is safe to open and exit a vehicle, this could result in a serious crash.

No matter the cause of a motorcycle collision, a motorcyclist is like to suffer serious injuries. This could require much medical attention and recovery.
